Snap Up Spooky New Terrain From Black Site Studios
November 2, 2022 by brennon
Black Site Studios has got three new terrain kits up on their webstore for you to snap up. Halloween might have passed but the spooky season continues and each of these pre-painted terrain pieces are available until 11th November.
Firehouse Number 8 // Black Site Studios
The first of these pieces should be pretty recognisable to most of you! Firehouse Number 8 comes with multiple floors for you to explore with full interior detailing. With it being pre-painted, all you need to do is pop it off the sprues and get building!

As well as being fully detailed and pre-painted, the kit also comes with working doors on the front and working decorative shutters on the windows. So, you can tinker and play around with the terrain as much as you like during your opponent's turn. There are plenty of awesome miniatures out there from the likes of Crooked Dice that would be perfect when used alongside this terrain. I can feel some 7TV scenarios coming on!

The next of the terrain kits we're going to be looking at takes us to small-town America and the joys of watching a movie outside in your car.
The Sundown Drive-In Cinema // Black Site Studios
You'll be able to visit The Sundown Drive-In Cinema which seems like the perfect place to catch a horror movie or two. The set comes with the Projection and Concession Stand plus a big Cinema Sign on the outside. You get twelve Speakers to dot around and one Screen. The Screen can actually be punched out and you can house a tablet in it! In the image here, Black Site have used an iPad as a guide.
The Sundown Drive-In Cinema // Black Site Studios
This seems like the perfect place for some dastardly goings-on. Your teens have turned up to watch a movie only to notice that people are going missing and screaming can be heard, and it ain't coming from the film! Will you be able to escape the killer before the credits roll...on your life!
Last but not least, we have The Keaton Residence. This would be a grand statement piece for your games and a solid opportunity to play out some spooky goings-on.
The Keaton Residence // Black Site Studios
Much like with the Firehouse above, this terrain piece comes with a detailed interior across multiple floors. There's a lot of fun here to be hand when playing out a classic ghost story I reckon. You could have the investigators winding their way through the building, hunting for signs of ghostly activity.

You just need to make sure that you don't utter that name three times! I think this is a wonderful terrain piece and one that would be incredibly useful in a whole range of gaming scenarios. I like the almost higgledy-piggledy nature of the building which seems perfect for skirmishes.

All of the terrain here is designed to work with miniatures around the 28mm to 32mm scale. You could use it for Black Site Studios' very own Don't Look Back or, as mentioned above, use it further afield in Crooked Dice's 7TV.
As a reminder, these three kits are available until 11th November so you've still got plenty of time to snap them up before they vanish like spooky spectres!
Which of the three is your favourite?

oh these look very nice. and the drive in cinema would work nicely with Fallout Wasteland Warfare.
Great looking buildings for gaming with an through.
Resident evil anyone?
I was thinking “Alfred Hitchcock”
The Bird’s or a Motel house.?
I pre-ordered all three of these the minute the email notice crossed my tablet!
I already have Ghostbuster minis and the Ectomobile for using with the ‘Firehouse’. I’ve got lots of minis for ‘Don’t Look Back’ to use with the ‘Drive-in’ that should prove fun. As for the ‘Keaton house’ I’ll have to look around for a suitable Beetlejuice mini and families both alive and dead or just use it as a creepy house on the block for ‘Don’t Look Back’.
Well DONE ‘Black Site Studio’s. ??
