Skirmish Outside The Roman Pantheon From Sarissa Precision
October 12, 2021 by brennon
Sarissa Precision has been showing off a fancy-looking new terrain piece that can be used during your Ancient Roman skirmishes. See what you make of this new 28mm Pantheon in MDF.
Pantheon // Sarissa Precision
The Pantheon features a large circular domed cella with a conventional temple portico frontage (lots of new words there!). It was a fascinatingly unique building back in the day and seems like a perfect place for a showdown between two rival groups in a game like Gangs Of Rome.
It was burnt down, ruined and rebuilt many times and still survives to this day at the Piazza della Rotonda.
Pantheon Scale Comparison // Sarissa Precision
As you can see, this is a pretty massive building when sat next to a bunch of 28mm miniatures. There is plenty is space within for you to put together a scuffle and the removable roof makes it very gameable.
I was particularly sold on the way those pillars have come together at the front. I think they look neat and stylish, helping to draw the eye away from the flat panels that surround the building. I think you could have some good fun with this, particularly if you throw in a bunch of scatter terrain.
Are you going to be snapping this terrain set up?

The Pantheon looks great.
That looks really good.
Footsore has said they plan on re-launching Gangs Of Rome at some point. As of now most of the stuff is out-of-print.
