Take To The Skies With Burn In Designs’ Steampunk Airship
October 27, 2016 by brennon
Burn In Designs is taking to the skies as they skin up their Steampunk Airship so it can take to the skies and cause havoc. Sky Pirates ahoy!
This wonderful contraption looks superb and I could imagine this sitting in the middle of a hanger just waiting to take flight, the crew clambering around it as they get it ready.
A masterful piece of work here that would be incredibly evocative on the tabletop. Imagine getting a pair of these and doing a suspended aerial battle over the tabletop.
What do you think?

looks great and a bit of work could make it a great dwarf airship?
That is AWESOME! I am officially obsessed with MDF terrain. It totally feeds my jigsaw puzzle obsession with the added bonus of having something useable when I’m done building it! 😀
Could do with a couple of search lights so it can take to the skies of Gotham 😉
Not quite skinned right, the balloon should merge with the cabin for a proper look there…
One question: is that construction robust enough for something that’s going to get handled, transported around, etc.
It’s very clever though – I do like the cleverness of a lot of MDF models we’re seeing these days – and very handy for that steampunk “get to tha choppa” scenario.
