Get Into A Shootout In Sarissa’s Classy 28mm Old West Hotel
May 22, 2023 by brennon
Sarissa Precision has dropped another big piece of terrain onto their webstore with the Old West Hotel that includes an interior! Head inside, grab a drink and then get into a fistfight with the local drunks over some allegations of cheating over a hand of poker.

The Venus Hotel might look reputable from the outside but it seems like it has seen better days. If you're seeking to avoid a scandal then you might want to head down the road and try out some different digs. Inside this place, you'll find all of the folks that got chucked out of different establishments it seems!

The outside of the building is suitably well-detailed and comes with a large balcony from which you can watch the events unfolding outside. It also works as a good vantage point for someone with a rifle and a keen eye. The downstairs also comes with a bar for you to duck behind during a fight and plenty of space for you to put chairs and tables.
Heading upstairs, you've got a series of rooms for your outlaws to hide in as the lawmen come a-knocking. I also really like that grand staircase which is just aching for someone to be tossed down it.

I sense that if you used the Venus Hotel for its intended purpose, you might also fall foul of some of those ladies of leisure if you did the wrong thing. Put a toe out of line (or a hand!) and you might find yourself chucked out the back door for the pigs.
A great 28mm scale building that seems perfect for the myriad of Wild West games folks are looking to dive into at the moment.
Will you be picking up this Hotel for your Wild West games like Dead Man's Hand and What A Cowboy?

Venus Hotel…. Oh my!
Looks good you need a water trough or a hay cart for the people shot from the balcony.
The hotel kit itself dates back a few years, but the interior is new. Originally it was just a two-story large empty box on each floor, but now with the rooms & staircase & bar it’s a bonafide set piece showcase. Love it!
