Set Up A Viking Sea Burial With Tabletop-Art’s New Terrain
July 27, 2023 by brennon
Tabletop-Art has been showing off a few new terrain sets that you can pick up and add to your collection. The first of these is something that would be great for a diorama or perhaps a highly charged scenario where a Viking warrior is getting sent off to Valhalla.
Viking Sea Burial - Complete // Tabletop-Art
This is a great resin set which features a detailed Viking who has lived a pretty good life it seems. He comes in a relatively small boat so perhaps he has been lain to rest on campaign? He has some of his worldly possession like a sword, spear, shield and more. I could see him being buried beneath the earth or sent out onto the water to be set alight with arrows.

The Viking can be removed from the boat if you like and kept separate. I like the idea of perhaps one Viking warband having to transport the body of this old fellow to his boat so that he can be sent off to Valhalla but the other warband is eager to interrupt proceedings and steal the precious treasures that are going to be buried with him.
Is That The Smell Of Fresh Bread?
Sticking with the theme of burning but going with a very different vibe, we also have this Medieval Bread Oven. This is quite a bit different from the Viking above but it's still a nice resin terrain piece!

Stick this within a Medieval house and suddenly it becomes a home. Ye Oldy Greggs. I bet you could make some lovely sausage rolls and pastries in that. It's nice little terrain pieces like this that start to turn a tabletop into a living, breathing world for your warriors.
Could you be tempted by these new terrain sets?

Their ordering/shipping policy to the UK is very disappointing and an anomaly in the EU market which otherwise seems to have adapted. Hopefully a UK distributor will import and sell these excellent kits. Thank you Brexit…..
