Scibor Cover All The Bases
April 18, 2012 by dracs
Scibor have released three new basing kits to make your minis really stand out on the gaming table. Take a look and see what you think.
This kits could provide you with some nice styles for the bases of your heroes and elites, as well as providing some nice ruin pieces for your terrain.
I think the wolf kit is particularly good as the wolf iconography makes it perfect for Space Wolves, yet the slightly cartoonish style of them makes them very fitting for Hordes Circle of Orboros.
Are any of you guys looking for some good basing stuff? Think these will supply your need?
The pieces look quite big and knowing Scibor’s previous work, it’s most likely the whole miniature standing on the piece. Still excelent stuff to spice up dioramas or terrain. The dwarf kit is acually something I could use right now in the on going terrain project.
That’s some really good stuff that could be used on more that just a base. The lion kit is the one I like the most and would look good on a terrain piece for a templar theme.
Thinking about it I can see the dwarven bits used to base goblin units (heroes, unit fillers, Arachnaroks) given that even awesome beardies have been – not beaten, let’s say ‘chastised’ 😉 – by goblins so the kind of stuff you’d see in a sacked and ruined dwarf hold would fit that army more than the stunties who’d keep their statues more in order.
