Pick Up Sarissa’s New Guards Of Traitor’s Toll Terrain Bundles!
August 23, 2024 by brennon
The new terrain by Sarissa Precision for use in Grey For Now Games' Guards Of Traitor's Toll, is now available for you to pre-order. You can get your hands on a couple of bundles which will start you out with this pre-coloured terrain that will have you setting up tabletops nice and quickly.
Town Starter // Sarissa Precision
The Town Starter is a good place to start. It gives you three large buildings and a myriad of scatter terrain that can be used for creating. The terrain comes already coloured using the hard-wearing Sarissa CMYK colouring and all you'll need to do is build the sets and you'll be ready to go.
Inside the Town Starter, you get...
- Gunnel Street Warehouse
- Gaolers Lane House
- Market Row Shop
- Walkways & Decks
- Cottage
- Bays & Dormers
- Wooden Balcony Set
- Rooftop Watch Tower & Buttress Set
- Yard Walls
It should be noted that the terrain does not come with detailed interiors. This is because Graham of Grey For Now Games wanted the fighting to be happening out on the streets where everyone could see the miniatures and there wouldn't be faffing around with lifting off roofs. Of course, you can do what you like with your own games.
The second set is for Market Day and comes with a few other accessories.
Market Day Starter // Sarissa Precision
This set comes with...
- Tanners Lane House
- Needle Street House
- Cheapside House
- Crone Corner Shop Front
- Shop & Trade Signs
- Market Stalls
- Bays and Dormers
- Wooden Balcony Set
That means another three buildings for you to choose from alongside the assorted scatter terrain that will be handy for setting up a market scene.
Graham of Grey For Now has also talked about the amount of terrain needed for a game. Currently, the standard board is 3x3 but it could go smaller. The idea is that you should be able to make a small market or portion of the town using two or three buildings and lots of scatter terrain to get you started. For a really busy city table, the idea is that you'd want to go with between six and seven terrain pieces.
That means, if you went for the Streets Of Traitor's Toll bundle below, you'd be well catered for.

Could you be tempted by this new terrain?

Oh those are nice looking houses
Very posh terrain ??️?
These have similar aesthetic with the old 4Ground Mordanburg houses I have already, so I’m pretty happy about that.
These look tremendous. I’d thought about scratch building a town but seeing three and knowing how hard it is to make time for hobby these days I might jump in on this.
Don’t really like the distorted look of the buildings… makes them seem cartoony.
And they are bloody expensive…
Lovely buildings, but given the amount of 3d printable designs in a similar vein available today I wouldn’t pick these up. I could probably make a couple of 4×4 tables for the price of these
