Sarissa Precision Have The Streets of Rome Under Construction
February 18, 2018 by dracs
Sarissa Precision have released some new terrain pieces for their Streets of Rome, bringing us to parts of the great city that are still under construction.
An Upper Rank Block builds the framework for a new, high class dwelling.
Nearby, we can also find a monument in the process of being raised.
These are very interesting terrain pieces. They present us with a different image of Rome, and help to make it feel more alive, a constantly changing cityscape.
Would you use these pieces for your tabletops?

I really love these under construction buildings. They add so much to a table, making it much more real world. I’m all about fully emersive gaming. If i wasn’t so deep into building my fabled realms table id be picking these up. Maybe a project for later this year.
They look fantastic the Crane would look good in a group as a work site.
That crane is a fantastic idea! Hugely characterful.
Splendid engineers they where, those Romans, and always work in progress, so this kind of terrain seems quite natural.
The crane can be used for the Dark Ages as well, I believe. I remember a picture or better a painting showing the construction of the dome in Cologne in the 13th century. One of the machines in use was quite similar to the one Sarissa has made us a gift with. So, the piece is quite versatile too. Imho.
I love architectural models like this. It makes the terrain feel more in motion when the area is still being built.
