Sarissa Builds More Of Grey For Now’s Guards Of Traitor’s Toll
October 28, 2024 by brennon
Sarissa Precision and Grey For Now Games have been working on new terrain for those preparing for the latest 28mm Fantasy wargame, Guards Of Traitor's Toll. "Tollingchester" is coming together nicely with even more pre-coloured buildings for you to help build up your dense city boards.

All of these different terrain sets that you see here come in MDF and just need to be assembled. Once you have put them together, they are ready to go because each piece has been printed in colour. The sections just need to be glued together and away you go. Each piece features loads of detail and helps create the evocative streets and alleyways of Traitor's Toll.

I really like that Sarissa is taking the time to build lots of different areas of the city. You've got all of the traditional abodes that people call home but also all of the businesses that you might visit daily. These are certainly places where nefarious thieves cause mischief and try and stir up trouble.
What's quite nice about the different building sets is that they also end up featuring lots of height. You have building sets like this one below for the Grand Rack Walk where perhaps hired goons watch over those filtering through the street below.

Traitor's Toll is also a bundle of different buildings that have been crammed into every available space by the populace. This is so much so that portions of the city wall find themselves poking out of different places in the city.
Town Wall // Sarissa Precision
The Town Wall could be placed somewhere near the entrance to the city or stuffed in between a couple of other buildings, working as a raised walkway that leads between them. I like how grand the walls look and those somewhat inverted towers give the piece a proper Fantasy vibe.
Latching onto the walls somewhere within the city, you've also got this impressive Gaoler's Keep.

Dungeons galore lie beneath this structure as you can see by the prison grates at the base of the structure. You've also got a cage that hangs out above the street where the most annoying of criminals can be shown off to the world. A word of warning to others!
Make sure to check out more of the Guards Of Traitor's Toll terrain range HERE from Grey For Now Games and Sarissa Precision. Let us know what you think!
Are you going to be scooping these terrain pieces up?

I’m on two sides about these. The design and printing looks nice but at the same time it’s flat and the insides are not printed. That’s not an issue with closed structures but the castle walls look weird that way.
Renedra for castle walls.
The buildings look ok.
I’m a bit split on these too, I think the printed MDF looks much much better than just flat plain mdf just painted but I think the likes of the plaster stonework @panzerkaput added to his mdf kits is a much better end result while costing a lot less.
I find Sarissa stuff a bit flimsy and the price…ouch. They are very nice though.
