Sandport Hydra Terrain Hits Soon From Knights Of Dice
September 26, 2017 by brennon
The new terrain set, Sandport Hydra, is coming soon from the terrain crafters at Knights Of Dice.
Designed to be used as Sci-Fi terrain for a desert world this terrain would look rather awesome in games of Star Wars or Infinity we reckon. You could imagine them popping up on the likes of Tatooine for example.
The range is most likely going to grow from here as well but it's nice to see more alternatives when it comes to terrain. Mixing things up with building designs gives things a more personal feel.
What do you think of Sandport Hydra?

Simple but effective, we will probably see a glut of ‘not star wars’ terrain over the next year.
Are the buildings sealed or do they have interior details?
The roofs come off but they don’t have much in the way of interior detail.
very nice.
Glue a foam ping pong ball cut in half and you have Mos Isle spaceport
They’re based on KoD’s own Tabula Rasa Desert buildings, which are more simple shells designed for people to add their own detailing too (although they don’t really need it to look good). These are continuing KoD’s sci-fi/cyberpunk Neo Sentry line by turning their own building shells into Tatooinesque buildings. They also do sets of ladders and walkways that fit on the Tabula Rasa buildings that I think would look great on these too.
