Rob A Roman Bakery With Sarissa Precisions’ New Terrain
May 24, 2022 by brennon
Sarissa Precision has added a new building to their range for those battling on the Streets Of Rome. Previously available in the Gangs Of Rome: Bread & Circuses set, this Roman Bakery can now be snapped up and added to your 28mm Historical collection.

This terrain piece comes with flour grinding mills, oven space and the shop front counter where the baker sells their goods. The building also comes with separate floors allowing you to skirmish from the ground floor all the way to the rooftop.

As mentioned, this Bakery was initially part of a Gangs Of Rome set so it's neat to see it get re-added to their webstore. Cutting off the food supply for a portion of the city or burning down the premises of a particular gang seems like a pretty good way to start a scrap.
I quite like that the set is very open and provides plenty of space to move miniatures around inside. There wouldn't be much point in having a building designed for skirmish games where you couldn't move around inside comfortably!
As well as the Roman Bakery, you can also get your hands on some new Broken Carts.

These aren't specifically Roman I would guess but they seem like a good way to barricade the front and rear of the Bakery above as you set it on fire! You could also use them defensively as the gang who owns the Bakery, moving them across the street to stop someone from ransacking your property.
Are you going to be snapping up either of these sets for your own tabletops?

Nice terrain the carts are great for many terrain table’s.
Footsore are hard at work on rebooting Gangs Of Rome, so this could come in handy once again before the year is out.

Yes GoR is being rebooted and I love the game so much
