Reaper Previews Upcoming Terrain Piece For Bones Collection
December 13, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Reaper Miniatures has a very interesting upcoming release that caught my eye for their Bones Collection.
The future release of the Obsidian Crypt is a very interesting looking piece that would add some very nice atmosphere to your game table. It has a very gothic style and the interior looks to be nicely detailed as well.
It appears that this is a multi-piece when you look a the pictures of the completed model you can see the seam lines where the pieces meet. I imagine with the right painting and finishing touches they will not be that noticeable.
I believe this is in 28mm and will go nicely with their other miniatures of this range as well as others. This would look really good on a Frostgrave table as some of my band for the game are from the Bones Collection as well. This model is expected to be released in April of 2017.
What would you use this in?

you could really get a lot of mileage out of that if you started chopping it down into smaller pieces, though it does look nice just as is. Can’t wait to see it released.
Yes, please! I love the Bones stuff. A lot of the big critter units in my armies are Bones. Tremendous value if you know how to prep them.
Ooo look great for any medieval table.
Is it made out of that Bones material? Cause something that big made of such soft plastic sounds awful.
