Pendraken Acquire Castle Arts 10mm Japanese Buildings
January 10, 2019 by brennon
Pendraken Miniatures has acquired the range of 10mm Japanese Buildings originally sculpted by Alessandro Passini.
For those wondering about how they measure up against the existing range of miniatures and terrain from Pendraken, these particularly buildings and additional terrain features were scaled to 1:160 so just slightly bigger. It shouldn't make for a noticeable difference on the tabletop, however.
Thirty-seven different buildings were included in the purchase...
- Dojo and walls
- Village houses and an Inn
- Shinto Temple and gate and bell
- Modular Castle with walls, towers and gates
- Osaka Castle
- Modular fencing
- Horiyuji Temple complex including a pagoda and halls
- Monastery with fences and gate sections
...so there's plenty to be working with. The big modular castle walls, towers and gates are what caught my eye in particular. If you're itching to get your hands on them, the team at Pendraken reckons you'll be able to snap the first batch up at Salute all being well.
Are you going to be swiping up some of these small scale buildings?
