Momminiatures Craft Some Skull-tastic Terrain
July 31, 2015 by brennon
Divine Rage and Momminiatures have put together quite the fun looking terrain piece. It's unclear as to whether or not this is going to be available for sale or not but it does look like something I'd like to own. Especially with so much Khorne sitting on my painting desk...
Skulls For The Skull Throne
I really love big terrain pieces like this. What it does is tell a story too which is neat, I think. This was some huge beast, a giant or titan of some kind, and when it was felled it became a monument to battle and slaughter.
The ancient tribes worshiped it and as time went on their fury and bloodlust turned it into a place of power. Now it is used as a focal point for sacrifices and all manner of foul rituals as well as a meeting place for the warbands of the North.
Chaos Lord
Talking of powerful Chaos Warriors it seems like we might be getting one of those too. See what you think of this one below present a head to the Warrior Priest in the same fashion as he is.
A nice model and I like the mirroring against an existing miniature. The only thing I don't like is that they went with more of that odd bone armour again. I would have preferred to see more of his scarred and broken flesh.
What do you think?

This is a seriously cool piece, but I don’t like the barrel. The skulls and shields piled around make it look like a place that warriors come to leave offerings or swear oaths before going to battle but the barrel looks a little too organised. If it did make it to production and was multi-part I’d leave that off.
Perhaps if it was a barrel full of skulls?
Also throw in a purity sigil or two just for good measure. Since there’s already skulls I mean…
That looks immense! i’ve never come across momminitures before, some of the stuff on there looks amazing!
That does look very cool.
Meh. Not up to their usual standards imo.
Those are actually really good.
I love their range of chaos warriors / barbarians
