MOMMiniatures Build A Temple to the Phoenix’s Flames
April 20, 2016 by dracs
MOMMiniatures have something a little different on their work bench as they have turned their attention to scenery and produced what looks to be the beginnings of a shrine to the holy flames of the phoenix.
This Phoenix Shrine is obviously elven in design, with the graceful pillars and fiery phoenix statues flanking the central altar. You could picture this forming the central focus of a larger temple complex.
To my mind, this is drawing upon an iconic piece of the background of the elves from old Warhammer Fantasy for its inspiration, which is by no means a bad thing. MOMMiniatures are doing a good job at producing these high quality fantasy sculpts, and this terrain set is definitely something I would love to see used on a themed tabletop.
How do you like these terrain pieces? Is there any sort of fantasy terrain you would like MOMMiniatures to make?

Nicely done !
Good to see this range expanding. MM is just one of several companies that seem to be taking advantage of GW’s waning fantasy line.
Like it. Elves aren’t my thing but they’ve done minis for Renaissance-y Germanic fantasy nations. If they follow those up with Renaissance-y Germanic fantasy buildings, postage be damned they can have my money!
they’re looking good.
