New Medieval Battle Mat & Terrain Coming Soon From GameMat.eu
July 31, 2017 by brennon
GameMat.eu has some new terrain coming to their webstore this week. The focus this time is on the realm of Fantasy and Historical with a set of Medieval Terrain pieces AND a new Battle Mat.
The Battle Mat itself shows the interior of a castle courtyard and the outlying area which will help as a handy guide when setting up your terrain. The way it has been set up would be great for a siege and you could create quite the nice ruined town outside of it too as the attackers take up position.
You'll be able to pick up the mat in sizes ranging between 6x3, 4x4 and 3x3.
Pre-Painted Terrain
You will also be able to pick up the terrain you see above, all of which is pre-painted and ready to go. First up we have the Medieval Town itself which has seen better days.
Some of the houses are still intact but there's also the larger ruined building which might have been hit by an errant spell or siege weaponry. You also get all of the little gubbins and nick-nacks which help add character to a tabletop including that neat looking well and statue.
Of course, the big draw for this set is the actual Castle itself.
This breaks down into a set of towers which have taken a few hard knocks as well as the wall sections where your defenders will take up their positions. I like the idea of actually incorporating this set of terrain into a larger plan where you have the place almost reclaimed by nature.
You could see vegetation wilder magical properties taking root in this complex of buildings, lost to the sands of time after a battle aeons ago.
What do you think of the terrain?

nice one, will suit my undead perfectly 🙂
looks good.
The mat and terrain look really nice.
I just ordered their gothic ruins and industrial sets. For what you get for the money they are excellent value.
