Mechanical Warhorse Leave You in Ruins
June 21, 2011 by dracs
Terrain makers Mechanical Warhorse have released a new set of 28mm Gothic Ruins for you to send your armies swarming all over.
At first these ruins might seem rather plain, but on their site Mechanical Warhorse have stated that their aims are to "give you good looking, sturdy buildings that you can take to the next level through customization and painting."
I think this is actually a rather good direction for terrain builders to go as it allows gamers to make the terrain suitable for whatever it is they might be playing. With a little work from your good self these pieces could be suitable for a war torn Imperial city in Warhammer 40k, or possibly the remains of an Empirical cathedral in Warhammer Fantasy.
Are these sets suitable for anything you guys might be playing? Would any of you think of getting them and if so would you personalise it at all? Be sure to drop us a comment below.

nice looking gear for sure…
An empirical cathedral? Inquisition!!!! We have a heretic!! 😛
(Sorry Sam, couldn’t resist) 😉
Pretty awesome stuff mate, cant wait to drop this on my table, make everyone think I built it bwahaha
With the right painting and scatter etc these could be used for a lot of historical periods as well as fantasy. I can actually see this stuff being good for Secrets of the 3rd Reich too!
