Maze Of The Dead Terrain Now On Kickstarter From Wargame-Model-Mods
July 8, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Maze of the Dead mdf terrain is now live on Kickstarter from Wargame-model-mods. This terrain is described as customizable lightable terrain with walls and corners that can be set up in many combinations.
There are currently dungeon, city, space corridors and "chaos" corridors. Each board section has the ability to light up and there are magnets in each section so you can attach each of the wall sections. This is an interesting project, but I have a few questions or observations.
The boards themselves look pretty thick maybe an inch or two, so what kind of weight are we looking at? The walls themselves look nicely detailed, but may be a little thicker than some may like.
The light patterns on the floors are an interesting aspect, but depending on how you set up the walls and buildings some maybe covered and blocked. There does seem to be quite a nice variety of options and add-ons that any gamer will appreciate.
This project has already hit several of its funding goals and looking to reach a few more before it ends in couple of weeks from the time of this article. If you like terrain, I suggest you hop over to their Kickstarter page and see for yourself if this is for you.
What do you think of this project?

I like the thick walls, if you can place a mini on top …. might have to take a look on this
All you need now is some DOOM minis! This would be amazing with Space Hulk aswell.
Looks like it was designed with Zone Mortalis missions in mind.
Looks very similar to battlefield accessories wall system. Like the glowing floor tiles.
the blue board is so cool
ok ,had a look at the kickstarter and now the green one is also cool.
that room where the light is cascading down is scifi sexy.
looks goooood.
