A Masterful Bridge Is The Newest Terrain Piece From Tabletop World
May 15, 2015 by brennon
Tabletop World have revealed their newest creation and it's just as impressive as the rest of their brilliant terrain pieces. If you're looking for the perfect Medieval/Fantasy Stone Bridge then how about this one...
...Over Troubled Waters
The Stone Bridge as you can see above comes with the bridge itself attached to a road alongside a small house for the toll keeper to live and two small cabins where guards can take residence. There is so much detail packed into this sculpt...
So where would it fit into a board? Well, you could use it in a Warhammer Fantasy board as some river crossing protected by the Empire that's suddenly been attacked by Orcs or worse. Maybe it's just a normal bridge for your Historical gaming somewhere in Europe now embroiled in a small scale skirmish between rival gangs.
I'd love to see this pop up in a skirmish game where a Troll has taken up residence under it and the toll keeper has asked you to come and sort it out for a tidy sum.
It's a brilliant piece of terrain supplied in resin and the instructions for assembling it can be found over on the website linked above. The range from Tabletop World is growing substantially and I can imagine a tabletop completely adorned with their terrain would be an utterly breathtaking sight.
What do you think?

That is lovely. Very atmospheric. Would look great as part of a diorama as well. Excellent stuff.
Yep its very nice would have liked to see the actuul arch in bridge to be a little longer so it can cover a wider river but apart from that its all good.
I would be to suggest that the river isn’t going to be very big so the toll booths, house, lights and rowing boat is probably a tad optimistic.
But it is so lovely!!
Who wouldn’t want?!
Must dash, need to go rob a bank
I reckon the local Lords built the bridge JUST to tax people. They spotted a gap in the market and decided to turn this small canal/river into a money pot 😉
Haha That sounds like a potential scenario.
The People of Moulding-on-the-Piddle will no longer tolerate their oppressive overlords any longer! lol
To the left of Lendal bridge in york is really amazing small building I will get some pictures next time I am in York. If you like this you’ll love the real thing
reminds me of the Rialto without the gallery. Nice.
Fabulous. I own some Tabletop World stuff, bought in moments of weakness, and may eventually end up with all of it. This piece is now at the top of the list… beautiful.
Looks stunning, but I still have 2 bridge that need building into river sections as it is, so I will pass until I have cleared the backlog.
This is going in my mordowind box.
I have been toying with idea of making a coffee table with a homage to the incredible mental images painted in words of the discworld cities. I was looking to scratch build it and have it with internal lighting etc, but then I see the likes of this and start thinking again. One day Mr T P one day.
nice.
that’s awesome terrain 😀
looks very Discworld style 😀
Gorgeous. Better start saving…..*sigh*
