Mantic Show Some Scenery for DreadBall Xtreme
November 5, 2014 by dracs
DreadBall Xtreme is on the way and with it will come plenty of bits and pieces to litter the sports game of the future with, some of which Mantic have just shown off.
DreadBall Xtreme is, as the name would suggest, an extreme version of DreadBall where there is no ref and no rules, so the inclusion of scenery pieces opens up many interesting gaming implications.
Mantic have shown about half the scenery of Xtreme here. I particularly like those two spotlights. You see them and you can just imagine a player picking one up and using it as a weapon.
Did you back DreadBall Xtreme during its run on Kickstarter? What do you think of the inclusion of scenery pieces in a football game?

Nice, will fit well on my Infinity table in the making.
Those “two spotlights” are strike posts…you need to throw the ball into them in order to score. Just saying 😉
Backed it, waiting for it, liking what I am seeing so far.
