Manorhouse Workshop Previews Abbey Ruins
September 15, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Manorhouse Workshop has always made some stunning terrain and they have just announced some beautiful ruins.
The Ruins of the Abbey with Cloister and Convent, is still a WIP, but from what I have been able to see, wow! It will be an incredible looking set of terrain and a must have for anyone who appreciates fine details. These will be able to be used in any genre of game and will add nice depth to your tabletop.
I am taking a guess here, but I believe this will be in resin when the pieces make it to release.
I can already think of a game that these would fit nicely into, that most people wouldn't think of, DeepWars from Antimatter Games. The whole idea of a sunken temple ruins makes for a terrific background for that game. I will definitely be keeping a close watch on the progress of this project!
What game would you use this in?

This project will be financed on Kickstarter
these terrains will be very light and very strong and will have a much attractive price.
any comment is welcome. Lorenzo
Looks like vac-formed plastic, maybe? Looks great, anyway, but then Manorhouse terrain is always top-notch stuff IMHO…
Hi oathsworn.
thanks for your comment.
the material is not vac-formed plastic. is it a new product for our sector. always of the family of polyurethane. very light and very very robust.

Frostgrave!
Yup Frostgrave was the first thing I thought of too when I saw this. I will be keeping an eye out for this Kickstarter.
@wrinklestiltskin, @nameless1
exactly frostgrave, beautiful game and beautiful miniatures. suited to our terrain.
nice, looks generic enough to go with any dungeon crawler to a 40K temple? defiantly looks promising.
we will present a wide range of possible terrains. that will allow players to re-create with their imagination many gaming solutions.
the added value of our project will be the fact that each base will not need assembly or adhesives. soon, we will do see how quickly they can be painted.
