Man The New Massive Town Gate From Tabletop World
November 20, 2015 by brennon
A new massive terrain piece is now available to buy from the folks at Tabletop World. They are known for their immense structures but this one is taking the biscuit! See what you make of the Town Gate below which is their biggest project to date...
As you can see it comes with the main wall sections, a tower, a guard room for the soldiers to sleep in and keep watch from, an interior to skirmish in and even both a gate AND portcullis. This is a rather insane kit but it would look utterly superb on the tabletop.
This is also, as you might imagine, a massive chunk of resin and so it does cost a pretty penny. However if you were looking to invest in a huge project and loved painting terrain then I could see this being a wonderful task to undertake.
I'd love to see what someone could do with some weathering powders and distressing techniques. It would be nice to see it a little overgrown or maybe even battle damaged with a few holes thanks to catapults and the like.
What do you think?

Beautiful but ouch, what a price-tag.
Their stuff looks awesome but it ain’t cheap. I wish I had the room to build a town with all their buildings. It would look amazing.
this looks brilliant but they will have to make some walls to go with this or dues this go with the bridge well?
It’s big and very expensive!
Would look really nice on a display shelf though
This and the bridge are on my Christmas list.
That would be a super awesome gift to get this Christmas. You reading this my dearest love? Not not saying I want this.
Best fantasy terrain money can buy, eye watering prices though 🙁
If money were no object however… I’d have tables and tables of this stuff.
250 Euros, so easily $300 or more with shipping stateside. Ouch. For that kind of money I could get everything I want in the Reaper Bones 3 KS, or another huge KoW army. It’s a cool castle, but not at that price!
It really is the Rolls Royce of tabletop terrain, I personally think it looks significantly better than anything produced by other companies at the moment especially considering the material (which may not be that convenient if you prefer MDF stuff!) and it has the price tag to match!
