LITKO Build Up the City Skyline

LITKO have published some previews on their Facebook for a selection of upcoming 28mm buildings.
I personally rather like the style of these buildings and think they might be particularly useful for games such as Pulp City.
What's your opinion of these buildings? What games and settings do you think they'd be best used for?
Looks like they have possibilities
Steampunk Fear and Faith would be my use.
Could use a tad more deco but things like pipes and architectural detail could always be added if you want to.
Some decals printed for shop signs and advertising hoardings would add a lot of atmosphere.
I think they could be useful for Infinity and 40k as well… They’re earth-like, that doesn’t mean humans haven’t used this type of architecture anywhere else in the galaxy !
I agree. Just because they are not futuristic looking doesn’t mean they can’t be used for those games at all. They are generic enough that you can add a lot of cool things to them. I can easily imaging some cool Infinity holo adverts on them. I would make them look old and distressed to look like they’ve been around for a hundred years or more. It’s nice to see things that are not blasted out and stuff.
I think they’re great. I’d paint them post zombie apocalypse, really weathered and battered and slummy in dark earthy colours, plaster them with aging posters and put bullet holes everywhere and ‘BIOHAZARD’ warnings.
Taking the laser cutting experience they have with tokens and putting it into terrain? Sounds like a match made in heaven, and judging from the fine patterning and brickwork it looks like it as well.
With the height of these things I think an infantry force would be a bit overwhelmed by these but add in a few battlesuits or something truly big and stompy like a Titan and the balance would be restored. I’d like to see ruined versions of these buildings too – weapons fire doesn’t leave structures unscathed after all…
Definitely a great idea for Pulp City. Infinity could be possible, however, do they not lack the modern feel.
That is the beauty of this style of architecture. If it hasn’t been blown up by real wars or redevelopments, it covers a fair bit of modern history from the 19th century and is still present
As Romain said there is now reason why it cannot be used for “futurescapes” as well.
They might work for Malifaux as well, need to see a shot with a model to get a feel for the difference in scale.
Anyone know of a UK or Euro stockist?
