Light Up Your Sci-Fi Game With Kickstarter From Laser Terrain Co.
November 4, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
Your Sci-Fi table is about to get even more awesome with the out of this world Tabletop Wargames Terrain System from Laser Terrain Co. Not only does this system look beautiful on it's own, but with the additional back light system, you can add fantastic light effects to the terrain!
This terrain is scaled for 28-32mm games and provides the perfect Sci-Fi interior gaming space for games like Afterlife, Infinity, AVP, Antares, and the like.
You can choose to have the system with black or white interior and use it as is or with the stunning light effect.
Will you be taking your Sci-Fi game into these fantastic corridors?

this so damn cool…. and expensive!^^
Does seem pricey for what is essentially etched acrylic, would be interested to see how it compares to etch spayed acrylic and some cheap surface mount led strips on the edges….
I.e. what people were doing to windows on PC cases 10 years ago…
I pledged 300£ for the double starter with lights. Why? I believe it will create a new level of immersion in my sci-fi games. Playing in a darkened room, the corriodors glowing in a blue light, soundtrack from alien playing in the background. Narrow, claustrophobic corridors and unknown horrors lurking behind every corner. Yeah, I’ll bite. 🙂
Cant dispute the immersion and the wow factor, just the price puts me off 🙂
Totally get that, pricing is on the steep side. For me it was a bit of go all in or not at all.
Now I have to hold up my hobby budget for a while, which actually is a rather good thing in my case. 🙂
A lot more time to actually finish painting my Infinity PanO, 40k CSM and DZC PHR & Scourge, without impulse minis purchases to expand my unpainted pile.
Cool looking but not enough variation in the tiles. I’ll stick with my Terrain from Battlesystems 🙂
I wonder if combining both would allow each to ‘enhance’ the other?
I´m awaiting the Antenocities Workshop Forward Base KS, thinking that these two kits will complement each other wonderfully. I do believe some of the Battlesystem sci-fi terrain would work well with Laser Terrains. With some creativity, many good things are possible! 🙂
It does look really, really cool. I like that it’s large – much more spacious than many space ship type terrain systems we see. It looks very sleek and stylish and looks like it slots together easily and securely, which is a big plus.
Hmm… tempting…
looks good.
