Leven Miniatures Build 6mm Battlefields For All Periods
July 6, 2015 by brennon
Leven Miniatures have previewed some of their upcoming 6mm terrain sets. The first of these is the Rorke's Drift set followed by a Palisade Outpost for more Ancient wargaming...
Rorke's Drift
We're getting a bit Victorian with the first set of 6mm terrain and heading off to Africa. With that in mind see what you think of Rorke's Drift.
Inside the set you get two buildings, cookhouse and ovens, redoubt, mealie bag and biscuit box wall sections plus krall walls. As you can see it makes the iconic final stand quite impressively in tiny 6mm.
Outpost
As well as that we head back in time to potentially the Roman period where a Palisade Fort has been erected. This reminds me of the kind of forts that the Romans would have made while marching to war.
I reckon that you might be able to get away with this being a Celtic Hillfort too or maybe even something more modern. Fancy holding off against Native Americans with your pioneer force of colonists?
What do you think about the terrain for 6mm?
