Let’s Play: D&D Vaedra’s Castle – Tenfold Dungeon
February 4, 2019 by ludicryan
The wonderful folks at Room 17 Games bring the amazing Tenfold Dungeon into the studio for a game of D&D 5th Edition.
Anka from Room 17 takes the GM chair whilst Ryan, Sam, Anders and Ricard enter Vaedra's Castle looking to restore it to its former master. Using the modular Tenfold Dungeon to lay out terrain the gang fight their way through skeletons corrupted by the water plane.
Do you think Bright or Sigrun would make it out without killing each other?

Sticking in the nachos and melted cheese to watch this – can’t wait. So jealous 🙁
Hopefully we can get a game when you’re next across 🙂
TBH I didn’t pay a lot of attention to this on the Weekender (I was painting and I’ve not RPGed since the 90s). This is such a good idea, and those doors are BRILLIANT!
FFFUUUUU! Gawds how does it finish?
Maybe we’ll have to play part 2 when the Room 17 gang are next across.
a great video an the table looks fantastic.
Nice idea but I would need to see the actual card stock before dropping a minimum pledge of £50 + £13 p&p. How durable this will be remains to be seen. Battle Systems looks like a better option…if they ever re-print their fantasy stuff.
From first-hand experience with it, the card quality is pretty good. The one we were using there was their prototype and they had been carrying it about to show off at shows everywhere and showed surprisingly little wear and tear.
@dracs – if it’s been too long since you played D&D, all the more reason to start a campaign in the office and livestream it for all of us. ? Is it just me, or was Sam channeling Alan Rickmansworth when he spoke in character? 😉 Bastard sword – surely that’s what you shout at your weapon when you fluff an attack? ? I echo Sam’s question of “‘Bring in the sandwiches’?” Think I need my hearing checked – at one point I misheard “22” as “Twelvety-two” And was thinking that’s bloody impressive, that’s one hell of a modifier, lol.… Read more »
I was indeed channeling Alan Rickman.
Is it weird I heard your comment in your Alan Rickman voice? Lol
