Lasercut Architect Preview New Adaptive Terrain Prototypes
January 21, 2022 by brennon
Lasercut Architect has been previewing some more of their new kit and ideas to 4Ground as one of their Independent Designers. The new kit they have been working on is called Adaptive Terrain and looks like it could be fun for Sci-Fi wargames.
Adaptive Terrain // Lasercut Architect
This terrain has been made to be entirely modular. This includes what you slot into the walls, how long you want them to be and more. There are also going to be removable roof sections and floors for adding height as a factor.
The terrain that has been designed by Lasercut Architect is still in the fine-tuning process but it already looks pretty awesome. The idea is that it will work for 28mm wargames but also their own game called G15 which is also in the works.
As is going to be the case with the work by 4Ground and their independent designers, I would imagine we're going to see pre-coloured versions of these popping up when they are ready over on 4Ground's webstore.
This looks like it could be fun for the likes of Necromunda, Firefight, Infinity, Kill Team and plenty more. Imagine some fun games of Core Space played out on a combination of this and their own card terrain.
Do you like the idea of this adaptive and modular terrain?

I like the word adaptive
Fantastic terrain I love their defence line weapons.
I would love to use this on a number of sci-fi games; Space Hulk, Star saga, Infinity etc. I wonder if there is a possibility of using this terrain in conjunction with Core Space terrain?
My Rampart and Dungeon&Laser stuff says I do like this sort of stuff.
However I still think we need curves and angles other than 90 degrees for it to not end up like another set of cubes.
