Battle Systems New Stunning Sci-Fi Terrain Takes To Kickstarter Soon
October 12, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
Battle Systems is about to take to Kickstarter again with more of their fantastic 28mm card stock Sci-Fi terrain in two epic tables full of options.
There will be a Frontier and Galactic table option available to backers, that will both offer a jam packed amount of terrain to create some really amazing tables.
Even better, they have already stated that there will be Early Bird pricing available, which means it will be well worth your while to get in on this one when it drops on Friday, October 21st.
What do you think of these epic options from Battle Systems?

This stuff looks amazing. I’d be interested to hear from people about the durability. And I mean not so much if it bends etc. But how do the edges hold up? I’d be a bit worried about this cardstock starting to fray a bit.
Ther’s an easy solution:
take a liquid superglue and soak the edge… it becomes as durable as plastic!
Yup, it’s a neat little trick. You will need quite a lot of superglue to do a full set but it’s worth doing, even if you only do the bits that connect together (which is what I did). It’s Also very high quality card as well so as long as you look after it it will last a long time. Personally I don’t generally use the furniture pieces from either my Fantasy or Sci Fi sets because typically I have found them to look a bit crap and because I have Dungeon Saga I have access to quite a lot… Read more »
i hope for a scifi1 upgrade pledge with just the new toys since i’ve bought 4x of the old one + extras….
They did a modern set last year. Picked up a2 shantytowns for my Spectre minis (if I ever get a chance to play them that is)
It was post apocalyptic though. so you could either have a Shanty Town or a ruined town. I’m talking about stuff you could use for Infinity or Shadowrun or some of the modern combat games.
Thanks for the tip. Super!
Ive been looking forward to this!
I play Infinity and this is just what my terrain collection needs to break it up a bit, and make it look less uniform. Also if their last Kickstarters are anything to go by, the price will be very reasonable!
Desperately trying to think of a reason why I should back this (other than that I want to) so I can justify it to the wife
A stimulus package for the UK economy?
Super pumped for this! I didn’t find out about their first sci fi KS until a couple days after it ended, so I’ve been waiting for this for ages!
The way you can put together buildings with this set make it the perfect solution for running demo games at show; bring a rubber game game and some buildings in flat pack form – don’t need to worry about fragile demo boards getting demolished in transit!
Battle Systems’ terrain is top notch! I was fortunate in the past to be able to grab 4 Strongholds in the first Sci-fi Kickstarter, 4 Dungeons in the fantasy Kickstarter, 2 Shanty Towns and 4 City Blocks in the Urban Apocalypse Kickstarter…and a TON of add-ons for all of them! (I’m still punching out and assembling the Urban Apocalypse terrain as I got a LOT of stuff.) But the sets, all of them, are beautiful and sturdy with just a bit of care. Now, I’m a bit more lazy than some of my fellow hobbyists…as I just want to play.… Read more »
Lovely stuff ! 😀
that looks as good as the other terrain they make.
This is looking fantastic.
Im so in on this , its silly.
I might have to look at at getting some of the post apoc roads , as I would like to build an sci fi city outside as well as indoor complexes.
