Head To Neo-Tokyo With New Deep-Cut Studio Mats
November 30, 2016 by brennon
Deep-Cut Studio has put together a new mat for you to play out your Sci-Fi games on. The new design features a Neo-Tokyo design which would be awesome for building up an Infinity battlefield.
The mats come in three different sizes which expand upon the design and give you more of the streets to play about on.
Interestingly you could maybe even take the models from HINT away from the grid of their board game world and instead include them as part of a larger miniatures game set on a mat like this. The Ubermensch could end up battling against the Nakamura Corporation in a running gun battle while the police try and stop them.
What do you think of the new mat design?
"Interestingly you could maybe even take the models from HINT away from the grid of their board game world..."
Nice angled streets with enough freedom to lay a range of scenery for different games.
I’d certainly consider this for a Cybertronic themed Warzone table, as it isn’t too cluttered and the road layouts are suited to larger buildings (unlike the MAS Infinity Mats, nice though they are).. but man! So many mats, so little money..
oooh, deffo need to snap one of these up! Me n my brother were thinking of going halves on the new infinity box for Christmas (he’s already a Haqqislam sympathiser and I’ve got some Japanese sectorials). This n some of that awesome plastcraft terrain n we’re all set!!
they have some great maps to choose from.
@bigdave operation red veil is a fine choice
I like the mat and am looking to put a yujing board or two together, neon city and traditional. would prefer to see a something cleaner and shinier for my neon city board but if not i’m happy with this one as I dig the blade runner style too.
I will be able to wallpaper my flat deepcut mats soon.
