Head Down Chicago Way With New Prohibition Era 4Ground Buildings
January 5, 2016 by brennon
We've got a neat look at one of the new 4Ground ranges that will be coming out later this year around the time of Salute 2016. See what you make of the first building in the Chicago Way set which will be 28mm scale...
The idea is that building would work in the suburbs of America from the Prohibition Era all the way up to the modern day. You could see this building being a part of New England, the outskirts of Chicago or indeed anywhere on the East Coast of the US.
As part of the first release you can also expect to see a Gas Station and a Diner. The 4Ground team have also mentioned that this would be great for zombie games which could be quite fortunate.
What do you think?

I can add this one to the list of 4Ground ranges that make me want to find games to use the terrain, rather than vice versa as is usually the case.
isn’t that how it works? I’m pretty sure the only reason I’m sitting on a ton of Zulus and British is due to the early release of Rorke’s Drift. Many years on the buildings have had lots of outings while the minis stay on the sprue though, I may have to remedy that this year.
@redben – I totally get that. 🙂
The nice thing about American wooden buildings is they work from 20’s pulp all the way to modern day. What is crawling with Lovecraftian unspeakable horrors this week may be full of zombies and black ops the next.
Really excited for these!
looks good it’ll be nice mixed in with other buildings.
If I had the cash I know what I would spend it on…
I. Need. These. Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh! 🙂
Oh boy do I want that!
