Visit The Haunting Tillinghast Manor With Warcradle Scenics

Warcradle Scenics has added another big terrain kit to the Wayland Games webstore. Take a trip to the fancier side of Dunsmouth and visit the towering structure that is Tillinghast Manor. I'm sure nothing creepy will happen at the large and imposing house that dominates the skyline.

Tillinghast Manor is a massive pre-coloured MDF kit that suits 35mm scale miniatures. Of course, Tillinghast Manor would be absolutely perfect for those wanting to dive into a spooky adventure within the world of Mythos.

Here is some of the background to this particular Manor if you were so included to tell a bit of a story to your friends at the tabletop...
"The dark and narrow streets of Dunsmouth, Rhode Island is home to a small fishing community. Typically in communities like this everyone knows everyone else's business, but not in Dunsmouth. Here people keep themselves to themselves and there is a constant state of tension and paranoia that hangs over the town like a cloying mist. The well above average number of unexplained disappearances seem to go uninvestigated by the authorities and the inhabitants tend not to discuss such things with outsiders, if they take the time to talk to them at all. Dunsmouth is not a place to take a summer vacation, in fact you would do well to give the place a wide berth."
I really like the haunting Gothic nature of the building, especially with those towering windows. You've also got that that upper location that wraps around the roof which seems perfect for parties but also a daring showdown between your investigators and some terrible cultist. It's a long way down over the side.
Tillinghast Manor also features a full interior across two floors...

There are a couple of key pieces included throughout. You've got bookcases, a piano and more. I think you could do a lot more with this by printing off things like carpets and such to adorn the floors. You could also maybe pack this full of scatter from the folks at Mantic with their TerrainCrate.

As well as the large manor itself, we also have an expansion pack that helps with creating the outlying structures and landscape that sits beneath Tillinghast Manor.

A perfect addition to the manor which builds on that early 1900s feel. This set comes with a Wall & Gate, Car, Fountain, Table, six Chairs, Bridge, Gazebo, Groundskeeper's House, Kennel and Crates.
Of course, that Groundskeeper's House is where you need to go to get clues as to what is going on in the Manor! Who wants to do an escape scenario where you have to rush through the grounds pursued by terrifying monsters in hopes of reaching that car?
Are you going to be snapping these terrain kits up from Warcradle Scenics?
Disclosure: OnTableTop and its companies are part of the group of companies owned and operated by Wayland Games Ltd since 12/10/2020.

These MDF kits really look nice.
A fantastic looking new building for dirty dozen type commando raid game’s.
Adding a few interior bits and bobs is a nice touch.
IT looks amazing but honestly the thought of trying to build that from the mdf kits with all those parts fills me with dread. I know if I buy it will be sat in the back of cupboard for years while I try to overcome my fear of messing it up. I do like the fact all the parts are pre-painted so you just have to build it.
If your into mdf kits and dont have the fear of them I do I think this is a must buy well if you have space for it
There needs to be a extra dimensional machine in the attic for this to truly be tillinghast manor…what were they thinking?
It’s still pretty cool though
