GameMat.Eu Craft A Centrepiece For The Tabletop, The Necropolis Portal
December 7, 2018 by brennon
GameMat.Eu has been working away on a new piece of terrain to use as a centrepiece when it comes to their Necropolis range. Here we have the Portal...
This would work as a great place to centre all of the action during your games. There's plenty of space on the top of the terrain piece for you to add your miniatures and I really hope that someone gets pushed into that hole right in the centre, falling to a terrifying death down in the depths below.
When combined with a lot of the terrain that the folks at GameMat.Eu has already worked on this could be connected up and use as the main focus for an objective based game as I mentioned above. Imagine having to go and control four different areas of the tabletop to either turn this on or turn it off.
I also get a real DOOM vibe from this as it could well be a portal which opens up into a demonic realm.
Working In MDF
The team at GameMat.Eu is also working on a series of MDF terrain pieces, all pre-coloured, and ready for you to use in the tabletop. This is the only teaser we have for this right now...
...but it would be interesting to see where this goes from here. It looks like their first attempt is going to be at creating terrain worthy of Sci-Fi games and they've already said that the set will cover a big 6x4 table which means there's a LOT in there.
What do you think?

That will work well for hellboy or a fabius bile experiment to name two other table setups
