Impudent Mortal’s Futuristic Wasteland World RUST Hits Kickstarter
October 6, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
The Post-Apocalyptic wasteland of RUST never looked so good! Impudent Mortal launched their latest Kickstarter today and it's already funded.
RUST- A Futuristic Wasteland For Tabletop Miniature Wargaming features a set of 28-35mm MDF terrain that comes with very clever adhesive transfers that transform your terrain into colored, tabletop ready terrain upon completion of your build.
This accomplishes two really great things - you end up with great looking terrain without even having to pick up a paint brush AND it doesn't break the bank.
Impudent Mortal has put a lot of thought into what to include in this project to provide a total table package, desirable to gamers. You have plenty of building and structure types of various sizes, great looking scatter terrain and even play mats in two different sizes: 4x4 and 4x6.
The mats are on great quality mouse pad material and come in their own carrying case. Though the theme in the project is post-apocalyptic, without the terrain it can easily make a great mat for any modern warfare game and more.
But let's talk about the adhesive transfers for a minute. I have had the opportunity to build the Min Container Set and the Repair Shop, and I'm impressed. There was a lot of thought that went into the way the pieces go together and the way the transfers are to be applied so the terrain is covered nicely and looks complete.
And the fact that you can apply a few clear matte coats and then take a paint brush to them is an added bonus. Some folks are perfectly happy calling things done when they are pre-colored (myself included) but it's nice to know that you can RUST it up further if that's your thing.
Impudent Mortal has also tried to make things easier on the shipping end, by putting an extra incentive into the shipping on the full table pledge.
Of course, you always have the option of adding other products from their website to the pledge at a 15% discount and with no additional shipping expense incurred.
Will you be adding a RUST table to your collection?
