A new 28mm scale terrain piece will soon be available for those wanting to dive into The Barons' War: Outremer. Battle to defend the Fortified Hospital which you'll be able to pick up from the folks at Footsore Miniatures & Games.

This terrain set will be available on a made-to-order basis as a physical kit this coming weekend. You get a good set of wall sections with makeshift defences as well as a small chapel building where no doubt the monks are holed up, keeping out of the worst of the fighting.

The set looks great for a skirmish or two as you watch over the gates. Maybe invaders have pushed their way into the city and this is one of the last bastions available to the defenders. You can imagine beleaguered archers up on the walls and grizzled men-at-arms packing themselves into the gate.

You could maybe do a bit of a Kingdom Of Heaven with this and replace the cross on the roof with the star and crescent depending on who is in control of portions of the city during your campaigns.

For those who have access to a 3D printer, you will also be able to download STL files so you can print off the individual components at home. This looks like a great kit and one that should spark some ideas for future scenarios.
