Fight Through Multiverse Gaming’s Forges Of Prometheus Terrain
June 26, 2017 by brennon
Coming to your tabletop soon Multiverse Gaming has been previewing the modularity of their new Forges Of Prometheus terrain that looks great for some frantic battles in close quarters.
This kit that you see here can be stacked as high as you like and allows you to start building multi-level structures that your soldiers can fight over. The details look great on the various bracing parts ofthe tanks and such and it helps break up the surfaces nicely.
This takes us to some of the points we've raised in the past where verticality is always useful in games. Not only does it give a sense of scale it also can lead to some special gaming moments. While it might be seen as something that should be more of a feature in skirmish games; verticality and forcing those smaller combats in big games may be a good way to level the playing field.
What do you think of the designs they've been working on? More is coming, with added details like hatches and vents, but they are looking impressive!

I like them. A lot. I look forward to seeing more.
I’d like to see if the ledges can take 32mm bases. I assume that there will be ladders or something to move between levels.
Looks cool though.
I love the idea of increased verticality (is that a word???) in games too. Will be keeping an eye out for these.
looks great.
