Fantasy Facades Bring Flat RPG Worlds To Life Now On Kickstarter
October 8, 2018 by stvitusdancern
There is a campaign going on right now for a set of terrain pieces called Fantasy Facades by a new company called Bannerless Builds. This set of terrain is designed to be as 3D building and terrain pieces to add some dimension to your RPG maps.
The interesting thing about these items is that it is only the front of buildings just like on many Hollywood movie sets. These will be in 28mm scale and contain different shops along with assorted scatter terrain. They will be made of resin and come unpainted.
The facades will be able to be quickly interlocked for whatever scenario you are setting up. The limitation I see at this moment is that there are only four facades to choose from, so it does limit somewhat your choices.
I could see taking the facades and attaching them to simple frames to make buildings for your games. If this is something that might interest you, jump over to the Kickstarter page and see for yourself.
Would these be useful in your games?

Price a bit high for 2D terrain elements. Good for display cabinets I guess, but limited use at the gaming table.
Will be great for 7TV murder at the studio. ?
Good call, although the look a bit medieval. Hammer Horror perhaps?
Indeed a nice idea! Are there any plans about .stl-files? Other genres would also be nice.
