What Fantasty Terrain Escenorama Has Been Tinkering Away On?
May 25, 2017 by brennon
Escenorama makes some amazing terrain pieces for use in your Fantasy games and beyond and we thought we'd show off some of the teasers of their current projects that are coming to life.
To begin with, we're seeing some fantastic ruins come to life as you'll see above. This collapsed and crumbling ruin looks perfect for adventurers to romp around on, ducking and diving through the ruins in search of treasure.
With Age Of Sigmar around the corner, set in the city of Shadespire, I could see something like this being a good option. Additionally, you can see some of the building they've been doing on this piece here...
The wall sections of this building look great but the real gem of the piece are those guardians that stand alongside the door looking down at all those who try and enter. I reckon this would make is a great piece for Warhammer 40,000 or as a Paladins church in whatever Fantasy world you're gaming in right now.
What do you think of Escenorama's range?

Very nice. I have never heard of this range, though.
I own their modular 28mm village set. That particular set has a lot of repeated pieces. It’s also pretty thick. I have compared it to a Warlord WW2 blown out house set (ruined hamlet or something I think) and I have some of the GW buildings they did a few years back (but sadly discontinued 🙁 ). Basically, I like them. They are big beefy and resin but to those other scenery elements they don’t really scale very well. The walls in particular but also the height. They’re very tall. They’re also a bit on the heavy side. I store… Read more »
looks great 28mm?
If it’s the same scale as their other stuff yes… BUT..
They are on the large side. I would say you could easily get away with 32+mm figures.
They don’t scale particularly well with more realistic buildings as these have quite beefy walls.
I own the ruined village set and will likely purchase this and the others.
will look great then.
thanks @4tonmantis.
i do like the look of it though and maybe tempted.
They do look nice and I don’t mind step and repeat tiles as long as they can be mixed around a bit.
Wow… just …
Wow.
