Exclusive! 4Ground Share Some Dwarven History In Tapestry Form
July 1, 2016 by brennon
4Ground have given us some previews of two of the Tapestry pieces which will be coming with the Dwarven terrain of Karag-Haim when it's released. Here we have two of them detailing a fascinating story for beardlings to learn...
To delve deeper into the story told within these tapestries the folks at 4Ground told us that this is an excerpt from the Saga of Braga Bjoernson during the first Trogkyn Wars. It tells an important tale key to the Dwarves history.
I love that within the very small details of this terrain 4Ground are looking to tell a wonderful story that you can use to add character to the terrain you're using. Maybe you use this to begin a story where you go to find the ancient weapon of Braga Bjoernson deep within the Dwarven Hold?
I think these are looking great and I can't wait for their terrain to appear online!
What do you think?

That’s actually pretty cool. So now Harold with an arrow in his eye? I could have sworn I saw this when I visited Bayeux a few years ago . . . 😀
There’s certainly a guy with an arrow somewhere near his face on the Bayeaux tapestry close to the name Harold; but whether that’s actually Harold and what actually happened…?

The BBC quiz QI mentioned that too along with some info about how there’s three people with the text ‘Harold the King is Killed’ in the thing :

Oh my, I’m so psyched for this range! My floating island on Ghyran needs a Duardin city, hurr up and take my money
Who else could have provided us with this fascinating piece of news? 😉
I really like these details they’re adding in, looking forward to the release!
This is just fabulous..two thumbs up!
Harold hard-as-iron-rarder the dwarf king vs the Willie the Conker-raah and his orkish hordes.
I cannot wait until tomorrow inside my viking hall I am going to have some wall hangings, been thinking on what for an absolute age. Tapestry’s are now about to get drawn up and a large scroll with the chieftains family tree upon it.
I also know what I can get my best mate steve for his Dwarven hall.
Good hunting
