Are you going to try and recreate the HeroQuest board using Dungeons & Lasers?

This does look great – if I had the funds I’d definitely be backing the dungeons and lasers project!
15mm would be interesting to see… but… I’ve typed it before and i’ll type it again: Twisting Catacombs Litchmyre Dungeon by Boris Woloszyn & Zealot Miniatures.
I would vote for those too – love the idea of seeing those updated miniatures in this set-up
@brennon Maybe when I get my set painted up we could try them out on that board?
Now that would be cool to do!
Justin and clippers…. any casualties? 😉
their some new eunuchs have appeared? Lol
Incredible, Love it ❤️ Great work everyone ?
This looks incredible! Re-creating the minis using the modern style (there’s a project somewhere that featured on a weekender recently) would be awesome.
The Dichloromethane will last longer in glass or metal containers protected from light. Ideally, something like this;
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MESE-Reagent-Bottle-100-250-500-1000ml-Amber-Glass-with-Blue-Screw-Cap/262574659674?var=561447257004&hash=item3d22ab585a:g:szsAAOSwdzVXra7a
A glass bottle wrapped in tin foil works (This is how I store mine) kept in a dark place, the stuff evaporates in daylight, you will end up with a container full of vapour if you don’t protect it from light. Just take out enough to use on the project and keep the rest in darkness.
Looks excellent, and the doors are fab idea.
As to scaling it down I would be tempted to go 20mm rather than 15mm because the door handles on the doors are going to look totally out of wack with a 15mm figure.
absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! I have always wanted to do something similar, great to see someone else do it and have it be a labour of love
Can you guys do builds for Zombicide: Black Plague and Massive Darkness? You wouldn’t have to do any modding.
One 3″x3″ boardgame space = One 2″x2″ game tile.
Also, aren’t you able to insert the walls at a 45 degree angle? That means you can make a dice tower…!
Well… it’s 30 years since I finished my chemistry at the polytechnic, but I still remember some of it…
It’s ” di chloro methane” or for something more phonetic “die-claw-ro me-thane”.
Good looking board though. Probably expensive to make… but I spent a fair bit getting hold of 3D elements for Journeys in Middle Earth…
Looks great, surely a Let’s Play is needed!
sounds like a dental appointment drill ? greee.
“Tec7 mounts bonds and seals”
Secret agents and animals? That is a weirdly specific fetish scene. 😛
you should make a guide to hold the wood in position with wheels that you can position for what your cutting guys it will be way quicker in the long run.
they may have one on the site you got the mini saw.
if your going to 15mm i would leave some of the monsters at 28mm like the gargoyle to make him even more intimidating @warzan
Very nice work guys. Just a safety tip, Proxxon sells footpedals to switch the powertool on/off.
Absolutely amazing, you guys really are the best out there. This is why I watch you guys every day keep up the good work.
Awesome work! Could we maybe get a play through? Maybe do a live stream on twitch?
This was a fun watch.
My wife was watching it with me and said at the end, ” I suppose your going to recreate that as well “, to which I replied, ” I’ve never played Hero Quest so I’m not feeling any pressure to duplicate this “.
Of course not having played it would not stop me from doing a project like this. It is now on my list of future projects.
I would like a parts count on the sprues used, for putting a parts list together. You know, in case I do build this someday. ?
Restoration Games negotiated for the HQ rights, and will be KS’ing HeroQuest Legacy (?) sometime in the future.
What a wonderful build, I would love to play on that! You’ve got to do a Let’s Play on it.
Did any one else cross their legs when Justin wielded the clippers?
A great build…
I laughed a few times, especially when Warren said, “Justin doesn’t let me use power tools” We’re not surprised, by all accounts you’re lethal with a screw driver let alone a power saw lol
Another moment; It’s a 16th you twat…. lol
I loved watching this. Any chance of seeing a playthrough of a game played on this board, maybe once you have all of the 15mm miniatures?
I’ve missed seeing John standing next to Warren looking worried- reminds me of Wallace and Gromitt for some reason!
Anyhoo, amazing work guys ?
Hi google
Thoroughly enjoyed watching that. There’s something about passion projects which really suck you in. Was shouting at the screen when that wall was in the wrong place… thankfully you must have heard me as you soon noticed yourselves! Great VLOG.
