Hunker Down In Empire At War’s 28mm Viking & Rus Ring Fort

Empires At War has been showing off their upcoming Viking & Rus Ring Fort that will be handy for those battling during the Dark Age on the tabletop. It should be available on their webstore in the near future!
Viking & Rus Fort Unoccupied // Empires At War
The terrain will be available separately or as a larger fort if you prefer. It will have the etching and detail on the walkways and exterior walls as you can see and break down into tower and wall sections.

This means that you will be able to construct a full fort or perhaps go for a half fort that hugs the edge of the table. The full fort comes with (as seen here) four towers and twenty-six wall sections.

When it is sat on the table it basically takes over everything! It gives you enough space for a whole host of Dark Age houses and that massive hall too. It should be a fun fort to play out a siege in the wintery climate of Northern Europe. It would be neat to see someone give this a bit of a Rus edge as well with a few extra decorations here and there.

That is a fabulous looking set of terrain for gaming with I can see people doing the siege on outland fighting the alien monster with this.
You took the words right out of my mouth. This set immediately reminded me of Outlander. You could also use just a portion of it at the corner of the table for sally actions etc…
Yes it was a easy call on a great film. The wall could be good for Roman forts as well.
