Go For A Drink At Printable Scenery’s Winterdale Tavern
March 11, 2016 by brennon
Printable Scenery have shown off another of their new 3D printing downloads which allows you to make the Winterdale Tavern for your tabletop games...
This looks like a rather impressive structure and it shows off just what you can achieve when you look at building up a 3D printed tabletop. You might be wondering how this prints and so we've broken down the different component parts of this below.
I think this would be wonderful for any kind of Fantasy skirmish game. I like that you also get some interior environments to work with so you can skirmish around inside.
What do you think?

looks brilliant.
When all your minis get banned from The Stoic Arms for brawling its good to have another tavern to frequent with your warband 🙂
Nice, but who on earth does have access to a decent 3d printer. Probably still cheaper to buy stuff the traditional way.
Great for those who own high end printers but Id rather put that 15 bucks toward some resin terrain with crisp features.
It’s definitely for early adopters right now; but print at home – with viable costs, speed and quality – is coming.
I have backed both projects and after we get back from Salute, we have plans to design a fantasy table using these models we will print ourselves. Still researching which 3D printer we will be purchasing.
I have backed both projects too. The producer seems to be a nice guy and he is very open to ideas about what models to do next or how to improve existing ones by adding options to the kits. So now I have to look for a printer too. They suggested a Prusa I3 and that one isn’t that expensive (around 500€ as a kit). The only thing I am not sure about yet: I think Lloyd is right when saying this can be a hobby on its own. But do I have the time for another hobby? If I… Read more »
The boys have talked about using a local fab lab before. So buying a printer isn’t the only option.
Do you have a fab lab nearby? What sort of cost do they levy for printing out this sort of stuff? It’d be interesting to see how prices would compare to simply buying a kit from a manufacturer already.
We do not have anything like a Fab Lab here, A local office supply store will print of request but the costs is not efficient. The money I would be spending to pay someone else to print I could purchase a printer, We are looking to use this terrain and print a Frostgrave table.
There is a Fab lab affair near us in Leeds at the University I believe. I may have to have a look into this.
Btw: It is still possible to pledge on their Indiegogo campaign
I wish I could get my own 3D printer.
I backed the second project and have been printing a lot of scenery
