DragonStone: A Modular Dungeon System
August 27, 2014 by stvitusdancern
So I was perusing on a little website called, Kickstarter and I came across this little project from a small company known as LEN Design Concepts and their project called DragonStone: A Modular Dungeon System - Abandoned Mines Theme.
So now the field for designing and building dungeon terrain for your tabletop adventures has expanded even more, assuming this project funds.
If you are like me you will notice similarities to another dungeon terrain system that did very well on kickstarter. It is always good to have options available to players.
Is your dungeon in need of expansion?
I’m happy with all the Dwaven Forge I have, which is quite a lot.
Also, he doesn’t even have the license to use these designs yet and says he’ll get it AFTER it funds. Um, what? Seriously?
Yeah, my first thought was, “is it licensed by Bruce (Hirst)?”
I know he says these are rough examples, but even so there are already plenty of licensed companies out there using Bruce’s stuff, and… well… not to be mean, but doing it cleaner and better. Not so sure we need another.
Yup that is definitely Bruce’s Stuff, like you I hope he has worked something out with Bruce before embarking on this.
Yet another Hirst Kickstarter dungeon :/
