Death Ray Designs has got on board with the wave of new players taking up the charge and leading their own Necron Dynasty by offering up some very suitable wargaming terrain. One of their latest projects was the big Necropolis Terrain collection which looks pretty awesome for those playing Warhammer 40,000.

All of the terrain from this collection can Be Seen Here and offers up a myriad of different ways for you to create defensive structures and places to hold out on a Necron tomb world. Made out of MDF and with a combination of plastic and acrylic elements, this terrain comes unpainted and unassembled but should be relatively easy to build and get gaming ready.

Necropolis Quantum Fortress Gate // Death Ray Designs

A lot of the terrain here looks like it could be relatively new and perhaps dropped onto battlefields by the Necrons as they seek to invade a world. However, you could always get in there with some weathering options and make it look like these are ancient facilities which have just come online. The hard angles of the MDF terrain also very much works in favour of Death Ray Designs making the Necron technology appear functional and tied to a very iconic aesthetic.

As well as some of the bigger pieces which are going to be focal points for your gaming you can also get sets like the Scatter Bundle above which offers up the chance to pick up some elements for a lower cost and give you the flavour of a Necron-infested world without going all out on big fortresses.

In terms of the acrylic options which can be used to make things look super Necrony, you can choose between the classic green or go for red, orange, yellow and light blue. So, there should be something to fit your collection.

This is a pretty impressive collection and I think it would be fun to see what people do with it when it comes to making super thematic tabletops. I have to say that Death Ray Designs have done a super job on the photography here for this Necropolis range and it makes it look very appealing.
