Dakka.Terrain (DakkaDakka.Store) are back on Kickstarter with a project looking at introducing a new piece of 3D printable thematic terrain to your Sci-Fi battlefields. The Stormpride Temple is the follow-up project to the Stormpride Sisters who were on fundraising a few weeks ago.

The new campaign focuses on a modular kit that can be printed using an FDM or Resin machine (full technical breakdown on the Kickstarter). The set comes with loads of decorative elements, a modular design so you can build it bigger or smaller depending on what you need and it features some lovely bonus options so you can take it to the next level.

Once the folks at DakkaDakka had built the Stormpride Temple, they also wanted to take it one step further and this campaign now provides folks with the option to build the temple in its ruined form after it has been sundered by the forces of Chaos.

The Base Set comes with the fantastic runic design of the Stormpride Sisters, a place of sanctuary when the forces of Chaos come knocking. As well as the main structure, there is also the Shield Generator which can be situated at the top of the temple, keeping the defenders safe.

You'll have also noted some gorgeous extra pieces included as part of the temple. The Stained Glass Windows can also be printed out, showing off the various saints or gods that have watched over the Stormpride Sisters for an age. Use some Contrast or Speed paints and you'd be sorted!

Alternatively, you can throw your lot in with the forces of Chaos and get the version of the Stormpride Temple, despoiled by nefarious forces. This switches out the Shield Generator for the Altar where someone is being sacrificed to power the terrible portal beneath it.

This set comes with the options for the dimensional/warp portal that leads into some terrible realm plus you also get alternative shields and the banner which can sit on the walls. I think that depending on how you paint these temples, you could get away with them being included in Fantasy games as well as Sci-Fi ones.

In addition to getting the Base Set which comes with the options above, you could also spend a little more and get the Temple Max Version which comes with massive gun emplacements watching over the walls.

As you might have guessed, there is also a Chaos version of that Temple layout with its guns. The guns themselves also feature moving parts so you can add a bit of fun to your games as you aim them at their next target.

As these are 3D printable kits, there's no reason why you can't print multiples of the guns and use them beyond the temple walls. These would be good for use on the walls of many a good or evil fortress in your Sci-Fi games.

Add-ons and Stretch Goals are also available for some of the older terrain in DakkaDakka's collection as well as bonus weaponry and accessories to help build your temples. You can check out all of that over on the Kickstarter!
