Crenellations, Everybody Is Talking About Them Including Renedra
February 26, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
Renedra Ltd has posted on their facebook page their current WIP for a tower and castle walls and today they posted they have completed testing the crenellations sprue that will be included in the tower set. I must admit I had never heard the word crenellations before until the guys talked about it on last weekend's Weekender XLBS.
First, let me say that these look really good and the painted example is spot on and I can say that I am going to want to get my hands on these. They well be previewing this set at Salute assembled and painted.
On the sprue there are even torches and gargoyles, I love gargoyles! I will definitly be getting this set, my onlyquestion is will I have to buy a second seat on the airplane to get all this awesome stuff home?
What do you think of these?

Nice looking stuff – interesting background material on Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlement
I hope there are half-length sections and so on to allow more variety of shapes to be incorporated into the fortress designs.
That looks like it will be incredible. Will be expensive for the full castle, but worth it. Never realised there was a gap in the market for a castle like this, but now it seems obvious. I want one!
This looks a bit nice!!!!
I’m looking forward to seeing it ‘in the flesh’ at Salute 😎
Looks awesome. Hopefully Renedra won’t go outnof business like Table Top Workshop did. A good modular plastic castle is just what we need.
Crenellations does sound like something old people suffer from. But living in England it’s a useful word to know because lots of buildings have them, not just medieval castles. Lots of stately homes and churches have them as decoration
Stupid aching Crenellations … I think it’s going to rain, they ache so much ;D
i would like to test it with pins/magnets!
With towers and walls in mind .. just a note that Dwarven Forge is coming out with their Castles kickstarter in about a week or so. It’ll be interesting to see the difference between the products.
the walls look good.
That will be a great castle set. Whether it’s in my price range is another thing altogether.
Very, very excited about this. Whilst I can’t imagine ever getting round to the full castle, I will be picking up parts and seeing what I can do with them.
Looks pretty damn spiffing.
