Sarissa Create Awesome Hab Domes For Beyond The Gates Of Antares
December 9, 2016 by brennon
Sarissa Precision are working alongside Warlord Games it appears to create some terrain for the game, Beyond The Gates Of Antares. Here we have their Hab Dome which is looking very flashy.
Now that really is quite a thing of beauty and it's nice to see someone go all out on the dome structure with MDF. The little plastic additions to the building also really do add to the building.
As you can see there are a few other bits and pieces in the background too so hopefully we'll see a very nice range from them soon.
What do you think?

That is seriously cool. I’ve done some Sarissa kits before and they go together really nicely. Can’t wait to see what this range looks like and what sort of price point they have in mind. From previous experience with Warlord getting in early on any bundle deal is the best way to go.
Saw this on the Antares FB group yesterday and was seriously impressed. I’m quite pleased to see that they’re trying to come up with a look for the worlds of Antares rather than seeing so many games getting played on repurposed Grim Dark terrain.
@oriskany I don’t know about you but I spy a Battletech dropship!
Looks pretty cool, though I’d love to see more pics and a painted example.
looks good.
Oh that is nice … I like the way BtGoA is slowly building itself into having it’s own flavour, and having partnerships with other companies can only help them both
Wow! That seriously cool and very Gates of Antares. I gotta admit I wasn’t very impressed with the earlier BtGoA terrain they did (the “treehouses” and the sci-fi fences), but this looks like a must buy.
That could be painted Concord with some light colours or could also work for Isorians with dark sinister schema. Add LEDs perhaps?
Well done.
I like these, style is great for a cleaner sci-fi setting
That’s an interesting look. It reminds me of the old school sci-fi movies of the sixties and seventies that used simple shapes to dress up the sets to make them more futuristic looking. This brings back loads of good feelings.
The whole game has a nice feel of retro sci-fi underpinned by a modern, really playable set of rules. It’s quite appealing to those of us of a certain age.
This looks ace. Nice to see them developing a range of scenery to give the game its own feel.
Giving the gaming table the ‘look’ of Antares will make the game as a whole more attractive.
I was fortunate enough to see the models in the flesh (or MDF), yesterday at the Antares Boot Camp at Warlord games. Nicely put together kits, the Boromite mining camp is very nice, but the Freeborn ‘resort’ complex really caught my eye, good design, plenty of windows and walkways, and easily adaptable for any sci-fi system.
All the new (and existing) scenery from Sarissa for BtGoA looks really great, and captures the feel of the game. Their orbital transmit pad was the first thing I took a real shine to about the game before I played it. Really looking forward to getting hold of this, and I’m sure it will have appeal to gamers outside Gates of Antares too – Heavy Gear also springs to mind, despite the scale difference.
