Coat Your Battlefield In Barbed Wire With Tabletop-Art
August 12, 2014 by brennon
Tabletop-Art are taking you to the grim future of indeed back to the battlefields of World War I with their new Barbed Wire tubes that can be painted up easily and quickly to fit in on a muddy and bloody terrainscape...
As you can see it looks cruel enough to be proper barbed wire but the coiled nature of the design means it isn't going to be cutting your fingers up every time you set it up on the battlefield. As the final image here shows all it takes is a bit of rust pigment and dirtying to make this fit right in on a trench-based battlefield.
Do you think you'll use this?
Is there anyone here who doesn’t know how to cut individual strands off screen-door screen and wrap it around a pen? You can snip off every second ‘nub’ if you don’t like the spacing on the barbs.
Sorry mate I have a phobia of screen-door screen wrapped around pens so this product meets my needs and helps me avoid my phobia 😛
Looks more like bent reinforcing rod close up.
Cool. Now I won’t have to do it myself.
Thanks to a recent BOW hobby lab episode on how to make barbed wire; I have got stacks of the stuff, which looks just as good as this wire and cost me next to nothing.
