GameMat.Eu’s Chem Zone Mat & Terrain Available For Pre-Order
January 23, 2018 by brennon
GameMat.Eu has now added their new Chem Zone Mat to their webstore for pre-order; remember the one you guys helped name? As well as that they have some new terrain to show off as well, the Chem Zone Walls.
The set comes with sixty different pieces, all of which were created in resin and then painted. That means ready to play with right out of the box.
The set comes with all manner of straights and block pieces which can be assembled in any way you see fit to work across the Chem Zone Mat and of course on whatever surface you usually use. Here is how they look when used on the Necromunda: Underhive board for example...
They might be a rather simple addition to a board in many regards but it helps take a board from 2D to 3D quite easily. It's nice that they are all pre-painted too so there's no fuss.
Chem Zone Battle Mat
The Battle Mat for the Chem Zone is also now available for you to snap up.
So, if you're looking for an Underhive to raid with your gangs this might be a good shout. It has nice detail worked into it and feels like it has been designed to allow you to work in the terrain pieces in a natural way too.
What do you think of the newest pre-orders?

oh now i really like this! it’s very tempting
Does anyone know if this is designed to line up with the Necromunda printed tiles? I feel like that is the unspoken message…
I may be mistaken but the second from last pic shows them on an actual Necromunda board doesn’t it?
Yes @mrpage – they do work with the Underhive tiles you get in the box.
Thanks both!
Nice solid looking terrain.
I like the mat, walls are OK
I like the walls, mat is ok 🙂
Any science fiction game will benefit from the walls. Industrial areas, spacecraft corridors, underhives, fortified outposts like in Alien II, anything is possible. Even a fence for a dwelling of survivors after a zombie apocalypse.
The price of the walls, however, is a blow on the wallet. Weigh it against versatility, may be a good choice.
Why are there so many bits in the Chem Zone wall set? Would that more than cover the Necromunda boards?
What other options are there for Necromunda mats?
