Cast Spells From Atop Tabletop World’s Wizard Tower
November 20, 2017 by dracs
Tabletop World have a new terrain piece that would be the pride of any mighty spellcaster; the soaring heights of the Wizard's Tower.
This tower looks as though it was taken right out of Hogwarts. Built high upon the rocks, the circular balconies allow wizards a full field of fire from which to cast their magic.
As a terrain piece, this large tower would make a superb centre piece for a table. I love the idea of making this the hide out for an evil wizard, a crazed necrarch or malevolent cult leader cackling madly as armies assault their stronghold in vain.
How would you use this piece in a game?

One day I’ll own it all. Beautiful stuff.
This and others on their website are jaw dropping amazing and so are the prices. My wife only jokes about divorcing me with some of my purchases but this would for sure make her file the papers. Provided I had the money, I would own all the pieces they have.
Lovely pieces… Crazy prices.
175euros is mental for a piece you can’t put minis into and fully use
I assume resin, why not sell in plastic, much cheaper
Because the moulds to cast a model that size in resin will cost a few hundred pounds to produce; the same piece in plastic would require roughly a dozen sprues, and the tooling cost would be over 150 grand… I’m sure they’d love to do all their stuff in plastic, but they’d need to be millionaires first.
This. Plus they wouldn’t be millionaires for long, an investment of this type would never make its money back (let alone profit).
That is so nice looking. I’d love to own that. If in the new year I have some extra money (doubtful) I’ll think about it.
wow love this.
I don’t think the prices are too out of line with other terrain companies, I think most of the buildIngs are priced close to 4ground the watch tower is $169, and this tower is much nicer with less assembly
I agree the price gap is not so large but the gap in quality is huge.
another beautiful piece.
Every single game I own – even board games!
It’s gorgeous.
Wow! I can just imagine how impressive that is in the flesh (or the resin). Would love to see it painted up and with minis to really see the scale.
