Build A 6×4 10mm Battlefield In Minutes With TTCombat’s New Sets
August 17, 2023 by brennon
TTCombat has put together two sets of card terrain that you can use to dive into playing your 10mm wargames like Dropzone Commander. The two sets they have put together feature enough bits and pieces to make 6x4 tabletops in minutes for use in the aforementioned Dropzone Commander and any other Sci-Fi 10mm games you might be playing.
Cityscape Box // TTCombat
The first of the sets is the Cityscape which comes with twenty randomly assorted card buildings. They are already pre-cut and glued which means that you just need to fold them and they are ready to go.
The second set that they have produced is the Ruinscape. This contains another set of twenty card buildings which offer up a different look and feel to your tabletop.
Ruinscape Box // TTCombat
With both the Cityscape and the Ruinscape, you could make a dazzling and futuristic city which has yet to be attacked by alien forces OR a landscape that has been decimated after an invasion. You could also mix and match the two sets if you wanted to create an interesting tabletop that told a story.

Those who have played Dropzone Commander in the past won't be strangers to this kind of terrain. I do like that TTCombat have gone back and put all of this together into two big sets though, allowing people to dive in and get their tabletop set up without too much hassle. Having a kit like this is much easier than having to build it all yourself.
Could you be tempted to pick these up for Dropzone Commander? If not Dropzone Commander, what game would you use these for?

Ooooh… nice. Great for all things Bot War and Battletech
and Heavy Gear
10mm is a great sweet spot scale. Everything from 15mm to 6mm looks pretty good with it. I have the Hawk Wargames version of the Ruinscape and 12mm Heavy Gear looks great on it.
Would work well for Epic.
Ooh flash back to the Epic day’s.
Trying to determine if this would look weird with Battletech. Nothing else I own is less than 15mm.
These will sell well
I double dare them to recreate this at 28mm scale! ha ha
Classic Dropzone buildings. Pro-tip for those getting these: cut squares out of foamcore or thick cardboard and insert them as bottoms for the buildings. It will help keep them square.
